Cabinet approves Rs 19,500 crore PLI scheme for Solar PV Modules

The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday approved the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for solar PV modules with an outlay of Rs 19,500 crore for achieving a manufacturing capacity of Giga Watt (GW) scale in High-Efficiency Solar PV Modules.
