The 28-year-old former world No.4 will surge back into the Top-20 on Monday after a week that saw her win eight matches in nine days, defeat three top-10 opponents, and overcame Kvitova to win her 10th career title, third of the season, and first WTA 1000 since 2017.
The win also marked the 40th WTA Tour singles final of Kvitova's career. Kvitova, who is 29-10 in finals, will aim for her 30th career singles title on Sunday.
Jabeur has lost to Kvitova four times, including a 6-1, 6-2 victory in Cincinnati the year before.
Djokovic defeated No. 28 seed Jan-Lennard Struff 6-3, 6-3, 6-1 in a match that lasted One hour and 42 minutes at the Arthur Ashe Stadium on Friday.
Barty saw off Spain's Garbine Muguruza 6-1, 6-7 (4/7), 6-2 in her quarter-final in windy and chilly conditions in Doha.
The victory is also being seen as successful revenge for the 23-year-old Australian.
Defending Australian Open champion Naomi Osaka, who is on the other side of the draw, has a first-round match against Maria Sakkari.
Pavlyuchenkova, the world number 39, ended fifth-seed Kvitova's hopes of claiming a third title at Wuhan in five years.
Up next for Kvitova will be the winner of the match between China's Yafan Wang and Slovakia's Anna Karolina Schmiedlova.
