Having left Manchester United to return to Turin, Pogba was hoping for a fresh start, only to suffer a knee injury in the early weeks of his second spell with Juventus, according to DPA.
The France international was free to negotiate with clubs over his next move after his contract ended with Manchester United. The 29-year-old has signed a four-year contract with Juventus that will tie him with the Italian giants till June 2026.

It has already been confirmed that Edinson Cavani, Lee Grant, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba are leaving United.
The Frenchman has a long history with United, having joined the club's Academy at the age of 16 from Le Havre. Pogba rose quickly through the ranks, first impressing in the Under-18s and then quickly advancing to the Reserves.
Raiola also told Sky Sports: "He is key player for Manchester United. They've an important project and he's 100 per cent included."
