A total of 133 archers from 23 nations will be vying for glory over six days with 15 gold medals at stake at the Fuyang Shooting and Archery range in Hangzhou.
In Asian or Para Asian Games held once in four years, the existing cash award of Rs 26 lakh has been enhanced to Rs One crore for Gold medal, Rs 16 lakh to Rs 75 lakh for Silver and Rs 11 lakh to Rs 50 lakh for Bronze medal.
