AIADMK General Secretary K. Palansiwami (EPS) on Sunday said that there is a high possibility that Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, slated for 2026, would be held with the Lok Sabha polls in 2024 and if this happens, his party will come to power in the state.
This is the first time that Palaniswami is meeting a senior BJP leader after the controversial general body of the AIADMK on July 11 in which the former chief coordinator of the party, O. Panneerselvam was expelled from the party.
The plea seeks disqualification of Panneerselvam and 10 others for having voted against the Palaniswami government when they were in the rebel camp.
