The Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab Police in a joint operation recovered a Pakistani drone in the border area of Tarn Taran district, the paramilitary force said on Saturday.
The drone reportedly flew deep into the Indian territory to drop the IED.
During the intensive checking of the area in the morning, 3 packets of suspected heroin and a Pakistani drone were recovered from the area, according to a BSF Spokesman here.
This comes a day after the BSF had recovered a Pakistani drone along the International Border near Rai village on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday.
