Dilbag Singh claimed that the grenades and cash were collected by an over ground worker (OGW) Nisar Ahmad and his family members.
"On being fired, the drone returned back to Pakistan. Search operation underway," BSF Punjab Frontier tweeted.
The Border Security Forces (BSF) on Wednesday intercepted a drone infiltrating from the Pakistan side by opening fire at it.
"On opening, this packet, 4 Pistols (made in China), 8 Magazines and 47 Rounds were recovered, " said officials.
The packet consisting of two pistols, four magazines, 60 bullets, an IED, detonators, a battery with remote, and cash amounting to Rs.5 lakhs were found dropped in an agriculture field in the Vijaypur area near the international border with Pakistan.
There have been several instances of weapon dropping by drones from Pakistan near the international border in Jammu for terrorists operating in Jammu and Kashmir.
