The seven personalities, including former president of the Sahitya Akademi Prof. Vishwanath Prasad Tiwari, who have made outstanding contributions in the fields of art, literature and education, medicine, science, and social work, will be conferred the 'Padma Shri'.
On the occasion, Union Minister for Tribal affairs Shri Arjun Munda said that listening to the life’s journey shared by tribal Padma awardees today is a great experience.
