“People warned me,” she recalled. “They said he’s very temperamental, that working with him could be tough. But honestly, I didn’t face anything like that. Not even for a single day.”
“He made you feel things just through his expressions, especially in songs. That look he gave while lip-syncing, it wasn’t just acting. It felt like the song belonged to him," she said.
The restoration is the result of a meticulous three-year project carried out by the Film Heritage Foundation in collaboration with Sippy Films Pvt. Ltd.
Together, they worked on several successful films like 'Roti Kapda Aur Makaan', 'Chori Mera Kaam', 'Vakil Babu', and the iconic 'Satyam Shivam Sundaram'.
Her sudden rise to fame came with its own pressures—and some very real dangers. “I couldn’t walk alone. I couldn’t live in peace,” she shared.
