Justice Manmohan, former chief justice of Delhi High Court, was sworn in as the Supreme Court judge on Thursday. He was administered the oath by Chief Justice of India Justice Sanjiv Khanna at a ceremony held in the Supreme Court.

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Thursday took oath as Member of Parliament in Lok Sabha, and said her priority will be to raise important issues concerning the country.
Among them, Kuljeet Chahal has been nominated as the Vice-Chairperson of NDMC as per the notification of MHA.
Other than the CM, five cabinet ministers were also sworn in alongside her, as Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena administered their oath.
Atishi will take oath as Delhi Chief Minister on September 21 as will the other Cabinet ministers along with her, stated AAP in a press statement.They are Saurabh Bharadwaj, Gopal Rai, Imran Hussain, Kailash Gehlot, and Mukesh Ahlawat, the party said.
There are indications that she may take oath, along with new cabinet ministers, on coming Saturday, sources added.
Other than the oath text, he said, invocations made by the members had been blurred and were not going on record.
For the first time, newly-elected members of the Lok Sabha took oath in the Lok Sabha Chamber of the new Parliament House building. The prime minister was the first to take the oath and was greeted with “Bharat Mata ki Jai” and “Modi, Modi” slogans.
Those administered oath included seven members from the BJP and three from the Samajwadi Party.
