IMD - In its weather bulletin concluded that the northwest part of the country would experience heatwave conditions from May 7, while heatwave conditions would commence over central India from May 8.
The national capital witnessed a clear sky on Sunday with the minimum temperature being recorded at 7 degrees Celsius and maximum at 22 degrees Celsius.

The IMD has also predicted light/moderate isolated to scattered rainfall/snowfall over western Himalayan region during next three days and light isolated rainfall over adjoining plains on Thursday.
Delhi-NCR has been receiving heavy rainfall for the past two days. Safdarjung had recorded 60.3 mm while Lodhi Road recorded 58.6 mm rainfall
The Ministry of Earth Sciences said on Thursday that isolated to very heavy rainfall are likely to hit most parts in J-K, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh, West and East Rajasthan.
