Displaying plenty of clean baseline hitting, and raising his level at key moments, Cerundolo recovered from dropping serve in the opening game of the match to seal his fourth straight-sets win in five matches this week to triumph at the ATP 250 event.
Following his second-round win against top seed Casper Ruud on Wednesday in Sweden, World No. 39 Cerundolo had described 2022 as "the best year so far in my career".
In windy conditions, the second seed, who is making his debut in Bastad, was forced to work hard against the tenacious Coria.
