The filing of nomination has started following the notification.
Chief Minister Sukhu and state Congress president Pratibha Singh were present when Kamlesh Kumari submitted her nomination papers.
Varinder Singh Kanwar, 60, filed his papers as a covering candidate for Anurag Thakur.
The four LS seats being contested are Mandi, Hamirpur, Kangra, and Shimla, while the six assembly constituencies include Sujanpur, Dharamshala, Barsar, Lahaul-Spiti, Gagret and Kutlehar.
AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh and senior party leaders Atishi, and Dilip Pandey were present.
The last date for filing of nominations is 6th May while the scrutiny of the nominations will take place on 7th May, as per the notification.
Sahrawat said her self-confidence has increased with the cooperation and affection she received from the party workers.
15 nominations were received each on Monday and Tuesday. The total number of candidates is 26.
In certain seats, even after its leaders were relentlessly poached by the two national parties, the BRS seems to be in a better position to fight with the BJP. The last date for filing nominations is 25 April.
