Nearly 60 Rajya Sabha members belonging to the INDIA bloc on Tuesday submitted a no confidence motion to the Rajya Sabha Secretary General against Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar, accusing him of running the House in a “partisan manner”.
"This no-confidence motion is politically motivated," Amit Shah said while participating in the debate on No-confidence motion in Lok Sabha.
The no-confidence motion was moved by senior Congress leader V.D. Sateeshan.
As per the rules, if the ruling government moves a trust vote then it will supersede the opposition’s no-confidence motion.
