Representatives of the Nishad community met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday morning in Ayodhya and expressed their satisfaction with the actions taken by his government in response to the gangrape case in Bhadarsa town.
Priyanka Gandhi also tweeted the edited video of her speech in which she was seen addressing the rally in Gorakhpur last month.
Sanjay Nishad said that he will be on a month-long visit to Ayodhya to mobilise his cadres for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections due next year, and reach out to the Nishad community to seek its support for the party.
