The high court had asked the Bar Council of Delhi to take action against Singh for filing a forged affidavit in the court and added that without applying his mind or deliberately, he had filed the documents to delay the process.
Her remarks came after Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to stay the execution of two of the four death row convicts in the 2012 Nirbhaya gang rape and murder case while dismissing their curative petitions against their conviction and capital punishment.
The top court had, on July 9, 2018, dismissed the pleas filed by three of the four convicts, seeking a review of its verdict upholding the death penalty awarded to them.
