Kaplan cited her work counseling the administration last winter and her more recent legal work representing Melissa DeRosa, a top aide to Cuomo who resigned after a report by the state attorney general concluded that the governor had sexually harassed 11 women.
Experts described Cuomo’s remarks as part of a larger strategy to discredit his accusers and save his political career.
Cuomo denied that he made any inappropriate sexual advances and insisted the findings, released Tuesday, didn’t reflect the facts.
Cuomo is also facing an impeachment inquiry in the state assembly.
All persons on the premises will be expected to wear face coverings when in common areas such as lobbies, elevators, corridors and restrooms.
