The State Bank of India Ltd (SBI) has reported an 84% increase in net profit (Profit After Tax) at Rs 16,891 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024 (Q3FY25) as compared to its net profit of Rs 9,164 crore in the year-ago period, according to a release issued here on Thursday.
Tata Motors Ltd has reported Q3FY25 profit at Rs 5,451 crore, which is a drop of 22.41% compared to Rs 7,025 crore during the corresponding period of FY24, according to a company statement issued here on Wednesday.
TVS Motor Company on Tuesday reported a 1.48 per cent decline in its revenue from operations for the third quarter (Q3) of FY25 at Rs 11,134.63 crore from Rs 11,301.68 crore in the previous quarter (Q2 FY25).
Coal India reported a 17 per cent drop in consolidated net profit to Rs 8,505.57 crore for the third quarter (Q3) of the financial year 2024-25 (FY25).
The market capitalisation of CPSEs more than doubled in Fiscal Year 2024-25 as compared to Fiscal Year 2023-24, the report said.
State Bank of India (SBI) on Friday reported 28 per cent spike in net profit at Rs 18,331 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2024. In the year ago period, it reported net profit of Rs 14,330 crore. On a sequential basis, SBI's Q2 profit rose 7.6 per cent from Rs 17,035.16 crore.
The company broke all previous records and achieved an unprecedented milestone by crossing operational income of Rs 10,400 crore.
With this growth, the company's consolidated net profit spiked to Rs 12,434 crore, compared to Rs 11,392 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
According to the statement from the company, the total income of the firm went down 1 per cent to Rs 60.19 crore, against Rs 60.81 crore in the year-ago period.
During a virtual press briefing on Friday, Atul Kumar Goel, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, PNB, said, "We don't have any exposure to Go First Airlines."
