The Delhi Police, on Wednesday, ordered e-commerce websites and social media platforms to cease the online sale of firecrackers in the National Capital Territory (NCT) Delhi.
Uttar Pradesh government has asked all the districts, particularly of National Capital Region( NCR), to comply strictly with Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) instructions.

Noida and Gurugram at 7 am this morning recorded an AQI of 529 and 478 respectively both in the highly toxic 'severe'.
In the Delhi University area and Lodhi Road, the AQI remained in the 'very poor category at 319 and 314 respectively. At Mathura Road, the AQI was in the 'poor' category at 290.
Senior Scientist at the IMD RK Jenamani said that there would be no rain in the National Capital and its surrounding areas from tomorrow onwards.
Following the rains, a large number of people in the National Capital had to face commuting issues while travelling due to waterlogging at different places.
