In a groundbreaking initiative, the National Cadet Corps (NCC) is launching its first-ever special sailing expedition as part of the lead-up to the Republic Day Camp 2025.
Elections to four Lok Sabha seats and by-elections in six Assembly constituencies are scheduled to be held in the state on June 1.
The Prime Minister also noted the presence of more than 400 sarpanches of the villages from border areas, which are being developed by the government under the Vibrant Village Program, and more than 100 women from self-help groups across the country.
Addressing the NCC cadets during his visit to the Republic Day Camp at Delhi Cantonment, he appreciated the NCC for equipping the cadets with these qualities and ensuring their all-round development to lead the next generation.
