In order to crack down on the illegal sale of narcotics and drug abuse, the Anti-Narcotics Task Force of Delhi Police in coordination with the Narcotics Control Bureau has launched a month-long joint operation.
The conference is being organised by the NCB, under the administrative control of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry.
Four people were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and 80 kg of cocaine worth around Rs 900 crores was seized from them in the West and Outerwest areas of the national capital.
The agency suspects that the produced drugs were also supplied abroad with the involvement of Mexican drug cartel CJNG (Cartel De Jalisco Nueva Generación).
On October 18, a case was registered against Kiran Gosavi, the man who was seen accosting Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan at NCB office in connection with the drugs-on-cruise matter.
"In the last two days, NCB conducted 6 raids/searches in Mumbai and nearby areas. Searches were conducted in Navi Mumbai, South Mumbai, Nalasopara, International Airport, Bandra and Juhu areas," sources said.

On Wednesday afternoon, Malik had made the sensational claim that a BJP 'vice-president', Manish Bhanushali, and another 'private detective', Kiran Gosavi, were involved in the NCB operation on Sunday.
The agency is investigating all the angles connected to the death of Rajput, the source said.
