Former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday cast his vote at a polling station in Lahore, Pakistan-based ARY News reported.
The doctors in Pakistan had recommended that Nawaz Sharif should go abroad for treatment after his condition continued to deteriorate despite the best possible care in the country.
Maryam said in a petition, "I returned to Pakistan with my father (former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif) despite being sentenced in the Al-Azizia reference".
The hospital, where he has been visiting for routine check-ups, is less than half a mile from the scene of the incident.
"It's one of the key investigations to establish the cause of severe Thrombocytopenia," Khan added.
He went for a consultation with experts in haematology section of the hospital. Haematology is a speciality covering the diagnosis and treatment of blood disorders.
