In view of the assembly elections in Delhi, the police have crackdown on the foreign nationals staying illegally in the national capital that includes seven Bangladeshi and six Nigerian nationals, it said on Saturday.

The advisory also appeals to Israeli nationals to avoid openly displaying Israeli symbols, refrain from attending unsecured large-scale events, and avoid publicising itineraries on social media as well as photographs and details of visits in real-time.
Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) of Karimganj Partha Pratim Das informed that these accused were coming from Maharashtra and planned to return to Bangladesh via the Tripura border.
According to the report, as many as 9,233 Bangladeshis have been held at IB while they were trying to flee back after their 'illegal' stay in the country.
The advisory further requested Indian nationals to keep the Embassy about the "status of their presence in Ukraine", in an effort to enable the Mission "to reach them when and where required".
