The raids led to the seizure of digital data containing information related to the accused persons involved in the attack on the High Commission and other incriminating documents and evidence.
As per the NIA, the PFI had been using the property for "imparting arms training, physical training, and training on use and testing of explosives to its cadres, identified to be part of their ‘Service Wing’."
The accused, Faizan Ansari alias Faiz, was arrested after searches at his house and rented accommodation in Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh as part of NIA's crackdown against modules of ISIS operating in the country.
Three others, who were convicted by the court on Wednesday, were sentenced to three years of imprisonment under various charges.
The NIA also recovered from the accused’s possession various incriminating documents showing his involvement in the furtherance of terror activities in Jammu and Kashmir.
Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav said these raids were planned after the questioning of recently arrested gangsters and criminals.
The authorities had recently attached properties of several Pakistan based terrorists who belong to Kishtwar district of Jammu.
