The total combined public expenditure on education by the Centre and the states, currently at only about 4 per cent of GDP, falls way behind the target of 6 per cent envisaged in all previous Education Policies
A good educational institution is one where every student feels welcomed and cared for, where a safe and stimulating learning environment exists, where a wide range of learning experiences are offered, and where good physical infrastructure with appropriate resources are available, says NEP 2020.
The Vice Chancellors also gave their valuable inputs regarding NEP, which would be helpful in implementing the policy in the state. They also discussed practical problems, challenges and strategy for implementation of NEP.
