A Pakistani cricket tribunal Monday upheld a 10-year ban on former opener Nasir Jamshed over his role in various fixing scandals that rocked the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Taffazul Rizvi, the legal adviser of Pakistan Cricket Board, said Jamshed was the "lynchpin" in the spot-fixing scandal.
Jamshed was arrested in the UK in February and released on bail after the corruption scandal of the Twenty20 tournament broke out.
Jamshed said since he was in the UK, the PCB was trying to force players to speak out against him.
The PCB has suspended five Pakistani cricketers including Nasir under its anti-corruption code.
