Mittal has claimed that there had been "gross violations" in the process which led to Narinder Batra being elected IOA President in December 2017.
On June 8, he wrote to FIH Disciplinary Commissioner Gordon Nurse, wherein he questioned the eligibility of Narinder Batra as FIH President.
Narinder Batra in a letter to IOA's Executive Committee and IOA members said that he will formally respond to the allegations once he returns to office.
The FIH said in a statement on Friday that the terms of Batra and the Executive Board members have now been extended.
Batra was elected as FIH president in November 2016, becoming the first Indian to head the international federation of an Olympic sport.
A DDCA release stated that all the members unanimously "passed all the resolutions and agendas" but sources in the controversy-plagued cricket body informed that the AGM had its share of drama.
On shooting being excluded, Sidhu had said: "I think it has happened before. We have backed out in the past. India is a big nation and we can throw our weight behind this."
