BIMSTEC (Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation), the seven-nation grouping, brings together five Asian nations--India, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka--and two Southeast Asian nations--Thailand and Myanmar.

'Shri Ram Vilas Paswan Ji’s demise is a personal loss. I have lost a friend, valued colleague and someone who was extremely passionate to ensure every poor person leads a life of dignity,' PM said.
Reiterating the key message of “wear a mask, wash hands, follow social distancing and practice do gaj ki doori”, the Prime Minister said together we will succeed and win against the Covid-19.
