As many as 18 people were held in 15 cases of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act while 85 criminals were verified in a month-long drive against the drug abuse in the Rohini district, the police said on Tuesday.
Customs officials at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) have seized one kilogram of narcotic substances, valued at approximately Rs 10 crore, concealed in polythene pouches inside a trolley bag.
Authorities seized drugs and injections valued at approximately ₹1 crore, while properties worth an estimated ₹4 crore are under investigation by the agency.
The policeman was currently posted in the strategic crime branch.
