Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Thursday defended the Musi riverfront development project undertaken by his government, claiming that it would go beyond mere beautification of the river and initiate its rebirth.
BRS working president KT Rama Rao Wednesday drew a parallel between the Musi Rejuvenation project under Congress and the demonetisation by the Narendra Modi government, claiming that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy was changing his stance on the project every day.
Taking a dig at the Opposition BRS which was viciously attacking his government over demolitions for the Musi project, Telangana chief minister A Revanth Reddy said some people were dreaming of returning to power by drumming up support on social media platforms.
Admitting that he might face some political losses over the demolitions, the Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy ,today reiterated his government will continue to remove encroachments from the riverbed of Musi and its buffer zone despite opposition because otherwise the river will vanish altogether.
