Govt to spend `50cr to check erosion

The departmental secretaries, principal secretaries and additional chief secretaries joined the meeting virtually. The state government had already spent Rs 1,000 crore in five years to prevent erosion.

“During the lockdown period we have delivered about 2750 numbers of ‘Mylab’ Covid -19 test kits ( each containing 100 individual testing capacity) from Pune to hospitals, R&D centres, laboratories in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chattisgarh, MP, Telangana, TN, Delhi, Karnataka. We also handled diplomatic consignments of MEA,” she added.

13 exam centres declared vulnerable

“We want utmost fairness in the examination system. At the same time, we have to ensure that the students should get marks what they deserve. We have to address the problem of evaluation, so that the examinees can score well and become happy,” said Jakir Hossain, the minister of state for labour.
