Anti-corruption activist Anjali Damania revealed documents detailing Rs 88 crore worth of corrupt deals by Maharashtra Food & Civil Supplies Minister Dhananjay Munde on Tuesday, after which Munde met Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. However, details of their meeting are yet to be known.
He said that though Damania met Ajit Pawar late Monday evening and gave him some documents, but nobody asked him to resign. "I will not speak about resignation. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar will respond." Munde said.
Maharashtra's Minister for Higher and Technical Education, Chandrakant Patil of the BJP, said in Sangli on Monday that Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will ask Food & civil Supplies Minister Dhananjay Munde of the Ajit Pawar led NCP to step down if any evidence against Munde is found linking him to the murder of Massajog village sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh of the BJP.
The anti-corruption activist said she has informed DGP Rashmi Shukla about the terror in Beed and given information about Dhananjay Munde's companies.
