Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Parmod Ban said the planning to kill Moosewala began in August last year. At least three recces were done prior to the murder. In January, another group of shooters had visited the Moosewala’s village in the Mansa district.
"The Chief Minister first committed a hara-kiri when he ordered the withdrawal of security cover to Moosewala, and now was covering up his government's failure to nab the culprits," said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary Tarun Chugh.
