The Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC), has announced signing a MoU with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) to become a partner under the "Startup Gateway Free Cities" programme.
Indian startups in the sanitation and waste management sector got a shot in the arm when the Ministry of Urban Affairs felicitated 30 startups providing innovative solutions for the cleanliness of Indian cities at the Swachhata Startup Conclave.
The awards, referred to as IASC-2020 in official parlance, were declared this afternoon by MoHUA in New Delhi in which all 100 Smart Cities participated.
