Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday deplored Prime Minister Narendra Modi for skipping the all-party meeting convened to discuss the situation in the country in the aftermath of the terror strike at Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir.
Modi said that he was deeply agonised and understood the anger seething within every citizen owing to the attack.
Addressing his monthly 'Mann Ki Baat' radio show, the Prime Minister vowed that the perpetrators would be served with the harshest punishment.
They also noted continued efforts towards enhancing bilateral cooperation in energy, defence, strategic technologies and other areas.
“I want to recall that it started with the honourable Prime Minister first himself talking about internal political matters of the country in foreign lands and always insulting the opposition,” she told the media here.
