Several foreign leaders, including Bangladesh Prime Minister Shiekh Hasina, Prime Minister of Mauritius Pravind Jugnauth, Nepal PM PK Dahal and Srilankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe have also been invited for the swearing-in ceremony.
The prime minister and 20 senior leaders of the BJP-led NDA attended the crucial meeting which came the day after the Lok Sabha results.
Narendra Modi is likely to take oath as new PM for third consecutive time on June 8.
