The order also said on fixed landline connections, Internet connectivity, without any restrictions, shall continue to be made available with Mac-binding.
The encounter began around 2 am and there was a lull in firing for about five hours after that. A fresh contact was established with the terrorists around 8 am.
The services were restored in view of complete normalcy returning to Kargil, with no untoward incident taking place over the past four months.
