Professor M Kodandaram of Telangana Jana Samithi and veteran journalist Amer Ali Khan were finally administered oath as Members of Legislative Council (MLC) under governor’s quota, bringing the curtains down to a year-long political drama.
Those administered oath included seven members from the BJP and three from the Samajwadi Party.
LAKR in a photo posted on social media ‘X’ wrote, “Shakib Al Hasan joins LA Knight Riders for the 2024 Major League Cricket in USA.”
The SP though does not have the numbers to win any of the two seats; it still opted to fight the elections to be held on May 29.
