Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, accompanied by a delegation of state leaders, took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj on Thursday. The delegation, comprising the Governor, Legislative Assembly Speaker Raman Singh, cabinet ministers, MPs, MLAs, and their families, sought divine blessings for the "prosperity, and well-being of Chhattisgarh."
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann Tuesday took a dig at Congress leader Partap Singh Bajwa over his '30 AAP MLAs were in touch with him' remark, saying Mr Bajwa has been making his claims for the past three years. He also asked the Congress leader to count instead how many MLAs his party has in Delhi.

On January 21, a letter was jointly penned by at least 35 MLAs addressed to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, urging for "positive action" to quell the violence. In the event of non-compliance, they expressed their resolve to take "appropriate steps" following discussions with the people of Manipur.
He further added, “50 MLAs are here on their own. No MLA is suppressed here, and everyone is happy. The MLAs are with us at the Guwahati hotel."
The top court also extended, till July 12, the time granted by Deputy Speaker to the 16 dissident MLAs to submit their written responses to the disqualification notice, and asked the Maharashtra government to ensure protection of all rebel Shiv Sena MLAs and their family members.
Two petitions have been filed, one by Shinde and the other by rebel MLAs, challenging the disqualification notice issued by the Deputy Speaker and the appointment of Ajay Chaudhary as leader of the legislative party.
The political crisis in Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government in Maharashtra erupted after party legislators joined a rebellion led by Eknath Shinde who is staying at a hotel in Guwahati.
The petitioners have also urged the court that the state government may be restrained from paying these taxes.
