A minor was stabbed to death by another over personal enmity in Nehru Vihar, Old Mustafabad area of North East Delhi, Police said Wednesday.

According to police, all three were studying in class 10 at Tagore Senior Secondary School Mayapuri in west Delhi. They failed in some subjects and due to fear of scolding by parents left their houses, and boarded an Amritsar-bound train.
The police have arrested the accused, identified as Udayveer Gurjar, while the child has been admitted in a serious condition for treatment at a hospital.
According to the police, the local team received a PCR call regarding the molestation of a 12-year-old girl at Police Station Kanjhawala on Tuesday. Following the call, a team reached JJ Colony, Sawda where the victim reported the incident.
The UP chief minister said the accused in the rape case is close to the newly-elected MP, while the accused in the Hardoi case is a former district president of the SP with many cases registered against him during the SP rule between 2012 and 2017.
A bench of Justices DY Chandrachud and Surya Kant set aside the order of a single judge of Jharkhand High Court granting bail to an accused in a case registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act 2012 and IPC saying "The High Court was manifestly in error in allowing the application for bail.”
According to the police, the incident happened at a high-end housing complex at Canal Circular Road in Phulbagan area in Park Circus on the day of Swaraswati Puja on Saturday. The 12-year-old boy identified as Biraj Pachisia went to the roof when the other members of the family were busy with the puja. He jumped from the roof and straight dashed on the concrete floor beside the pool.
Station house officer (SHO) at Fardhan police station, Rakesh Singh Yadav, said the accused was caught red-handed by the girl's parents and handed over to the police after a sound thrashing.
According to the complaint, the victim had come to her rented house for a vacation in the Chirag Delhi area from June- August 2021 where her mother and step-father were residing.
The youth's father lodged a complaint with the police stating that the girl's father and brother had thrashed his son while the girl's father filed a complaint stating that the youth had eloped with her minor daughter.
