A minor was stabbed to death by another over personal enmity in Nehru Vihar, Old Mustafabad area of North East Delhi, Police said Wednesday.

According to police, all three were studying in class 10 at Tagore Senior Secondary School Mayapuri in west Delhi. They failed in some subjects and due to fear of scolding by parents left their houses, and boarded an Amritsar-bound train.
The police have arrested the accused, identified as Udayveer Gurjar, while the child has been admitted in a serious condition for treatment at a hospital.
According to the police, the local team received a PCR call regarding the molestation of a 12-year-old girl at Police Station Kanjhawala on Tuesday. Following the call, a team reached JJ Colony, Sawda where the victim reported the incident.
The UP chief minister said the accused in the rape case is close to the newly-elected MP, while the accused in the Hardoi case is a former district president of the SP with many cases registered against him during the SP rule between 2012 and 2017.
Many celebrated this development on social media and hoped that the family’s ordeal may finally be near its end. The months leading up to this moment have been a nightmare for the young girl and her parents alike.
The young offender admitted to the crime and said that he had been drinking before it.
According to the family, the girl died as a result of excessive bleeding. Her family members also said that after her daughter died on Tuesday, the Trinamul leader and his party workers took her body by force and cremated it at a nearby crematorium.
The workshop was organised by the National Commission for the Protection of Child Rights, New Delhi and the Odisha State Commission for Protection of Child Rights and was attended by representatives of Child Protection Services, Police, Crime Branch, Law, Child Welfare Officers and Working Volunteers from Odisha, West Bengal and Bihar.
DCP Ghanshyam Bansal said that the incident took place around 10 p.m. on Friday at a paan shop near PVR Naraina.
