He made these remarks at the exclusive Reimagining Poverty Alleviation in India roundtable organized by the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) South Asia in New Delhi on Thursday.
The scheme being demand-driven, "whenever additional funds are required, the Ministry of Finance is requested to provide the funds."
The events have been planned to ensure ‘Jan Bhagidari’ so as to take the celebrations right up to the village level and to the entire rural population.
