Dr Shashi Panja, state minister for Industries, Women and Child Development and Social Welfare today inaugurated a three-day World Misthi and Namkeen Convention Expo 2023 at Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan today.
AIIMS-Bhubaneswar Executive Director Dr Ashutosh Biswas said creating awareness about key nutritional behavioural changes and building the capacity of the Mahila Arogya Samiti (MAS) members is the need of the hour for a healthy society.
The one-day event will feature 36 sectors and more than 1000 companies and 500 distinct sorts of trades. MSDE will host the event across 200+ locations, giving applicants the opportunity to shape their careers through apprenticeship training.
There was a visible drop in footfall of Kashmiri Pandits at the temple because of the recent string of targeted killings by terrorists. The mela is being held after a gap of two years because of Covid-19 pandemic.
