The voter turnout till 1 pm was recorded at 44.73 per cent while till 11 am, it was 26.70 per cent and 12.06 per cent till 9 am.
Polling will be held at 3,419 polling stations across 59 Assembly constituencies in the state. The voting will begin at 7 am and continue till 4 pm, on Monday. Of the 60 Assembly constituencies in Meghalaya, 36 fall in Khasi, Jaintia Hills region while 24 are in Garo Hills region.
