Directing the Commissioner to take strict action against negligent officials, she also asked him to accompany her on daily inspections from 20th August to 2nd September across all 12 MCD zones to ensure cleanliness.
AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj said despite the order of the apex court's judicial committee, the MCD is not de- sealing the shops that were earlier sealed about six years ago on directions of the apex court's monitoring committee.
The order came two days after an MHA notification announcing that the Delhi Municipal Corporation (Amendment) Act, 2022 to unify all the three municipal corporations of Delhi into one entity will come into force on May 22.
