Axis Bank, Max Life Insurance say all necessary regulatory approvals obtained in response to Subramanian Swamy’s PIL

Axis Bank said on Thursday that it has obtained all necessary regulatory approvals in connection with the purchase of shares of Max Life Insurance with regard to the public interest writ petition filed by BJP leader Subramanian Swamy.

1. With this addition, the private lender now holds a total of 30 per cent of the insurer’s stake. 2. It is worth noting that the deal comes at a time when Indian economy is going through a hard time, which is caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
