Mathura court dismisses plea for survey of Idahgah

Additional Civil Judge Senior Division III fixed the date during the hearing of the case. On Wednesday, a demand was made by the Krishna Janmabhoomi side for an inspection of the Shahi Idgah Masjid.
The Shahi Idgah mosque was reportedly built on Krishna Janmabhoomi on the orders of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in 1669-70.
The Mathura court also allowed the plea to seal the Shahi Idgah Mosque near Krishna Janmabhoomi.
So far nine cases have been filed in the Mathura court in the case of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and Shahi Idgah dispute.
