The source, however, claimed that the actor-turned MP's decision to return the money did not go down well with the agency as her decision to return it could be construed as an “after-thought” following the agency's alleged threat to freeze her property of the same amount on the day of her interrogation. It probably came as a rude shock to her.
A CBI source said that the summons to those officials were necessitated since they were the ones who were also the beneficiaries of the Narada money that had changed hands
While Panja had been asked to appear at the CGO complex on 25 June, Samuel will have to appear before the agency at Nizam Palace on 24 June.
