The Kerala High Court on Monday adjourned the hearing of the petition filed by Congress MLA Mathew Kuzhalnathan against the Vigilance Court's order rejecting his plea, seeking a court-monitored probe into alleged financial transactions between a private mining company and Exalogic Solutions,
Kuzhalnadan also alleged that the Vigilance Department also ignored his complaint against the Chief Minister, though it had registered cases against him.
Addressing a press conference in Kochi, Kuzhalnadan said that Veena has been obtaining money from the private minerals company CMRL since 2017. She acquired GST registration only in 2018. Then, how did she manage to pay GST before that, he asked.
Speaking media persons after filing the complaint with the Vigilance Director, Kuzhalnadan said he would prove that the acronym "PV" mentioned in the diary of the finance officer of the CMRL, is indeed that of Pinarayi Vijayan
Speaking to reporters in Kochi, on Thursday, Kuzhalnadan repeated the allegations against the chief minister’s daughter in the masapadi controversy.
Mathew Kuzhalnadan alleged that Veena Vijayan did not pay the tax on Rs 1.72 lakh received from CMRL. If tax has been paid, its records should be released, he added.
