The duo of Mirza and Pavic made it to the next round with the 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 win over Dabrowski and Peers. The Indo-Croat pair will take on Robert Farah and Jelena Ostapenko in the semifinal clash.
The team will now take on either the Australian-Canadian pair of John Peers and Gabriela Dabrowski or Brazil's Bruno Soares and Beatriz Haddad Maia in the quarterfinals.
Sania and Pavic, seeded sixth, beat the unseeded pair of Georgia's Natela Dzalamidze and Spain's David Vega Hernandez 6-4, 3-6, 6(10)-6(3) in one hour and 58 minutes.
They are the first Croatian duo to win the doubles at Wimbledon and did it 20 years after Goran Ivanisevic won the men’s singles final.
